The BR 450 C-EF also features a pull start with STIHL ErgoStart for starting at temperatures below 0° C. To suit a range of users and applications the blower tube length and handle position can be quickly adjusted without tools.
The BR 450 C-EF must be started via the pull cord when the tool is cold and has been stored for a while. Once warm, the BR 450 C-EF can then be restarted via the ElectroStart button on the control handle. The ElectroStart function will not be operational when below 0°C and a manual start procedure is required.
